Graham is currently working, and researching towards his Ph.D. at the University of Southern Queensland. He also holds a Masters Degree in Aviation Management from the University of New South Wales and is a qualified and experienced instructor in many aspects relating to data management, training systems and aviation.
Graham has taught and instructed at tertiary and organisational level in Australia, Taiwan and Hong Kong.
Graham's experience in online I.T. systems stems back to the early 1990s from when he built and managed an online Bulletin Board System using DOS based Remote Access software operating on IBM's OS/2 operating system. This was back in the days of "screechy" modems running at 1200/75 baud. A 2400 baud connection was considered luxury and that "screechy" sound of a dial-up modem making it's connection was music to one's ears. Graham moved onto Telnet based BBS systems during the dawn of the Internet. He has since worked on and managed the Disaster Recovery processes and software integrity on two of Australia's largest government operated WANs.
He enjoys working on Software Defined Radio (SDR) systems and is a licensed amateur radio operator - VK1GSG.
Graham believes in free and open access to technology and information systems and subscribes to the theory that all people should have access to education and information - regardless of age, cultural and social background.
